Locum Medical has a client in the Houston, Texas area that is currently searching for a permanent occupational medicine physician for their clinic. Standard hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. There is no call or weekend work. Ideal candidates are BC/BE in Occupational Medicine or in FP, IM or Urgent Care with Occupational Medicine experience. The candidate should be comfortable with suturing, splinting, eye injuries and minor urgent cases. Strong computer skills are a must. Patient volume is between 30-40 patients per day. You also have support staff of a Medical Assistant and an Office Manager. There is onsite x-ray and physical therapy as well.
