Exceptional OB/GYN Opportunity in the Pacific Northwest Bellingham, WA
Our Medical Group in Bellingham, WA located on the Bellingham Bay is a physician led, fiscally strong, expanding multi-specialty group and a member of the Health System. We have a vibrant facility inclusive of excellent staff and clinical resources. The clinic is located next to award winning Hospital a 253-bed, not-for-profit JCAHO accredited facility. We are seeking a talented BE/BC physician that demonstrates compassion, respect and caring while working within the scope of practice of OB/GYN to provide safe and efficient care to patients. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with all other healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization and participate in a 1:5 call rotation. Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Successful completion of internship/residency in area of specialty. Licensed to practice as a physician in the State of Washington. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Federal DEA Number. Current ACLS certification required. Demonstrated expertise in clinical management of patients. Demonstrated ability in clinic and/or medical staff administrative functions. Maintains current knowledge and skills with continuing education. Must meet all training requirements for specific specialty. Basic computer and accurate keyboarding skills required. Able to work varied hours; on-call and call-back schedule. Must not be a practitioner excluded from participation in the Medicare or Medicaid program. Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
Our Hospital is a 253-bed, two-campus medical center and Level II Trauma Center in Bellingham. As Whatcom County's only hospital, Hospital provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services including: 24-hour emergency and trauma care neurosurgery, total joint replacement, The Cardiovascular Center and the Community Cancer Center.
