Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas is presently recruiting two OB/GYNs to begin new practices with full hospital support. There are presently four active OB/GYNs in the community, and all enjoy thriving practices. Because of growth in the area, it is expected that the new physicians will be able to enjoy full, busy practices in a short time. The new physicians will be able to share call with the existing ones, with a call schedule of 1:5. There is tremendous community support for this recruitment, as well. The new physicians will cover one hospital - Texoma Medical Center - and will have one office location. A state-of-the-art replacement facility for the current Texoma Medical Center is currently under construction, with completion slated for 2010. The new facility will feature 24 rooms/suites in the Women's and Children's Center. In addition, Texoma has an electronic medical records system considered to be in the top 10-15% among community hospitals. The hospital will provide the new physicians with a very competitive compensation package, to include salary and overhead expenses. The city of Denison is located one hour north of Dallas, just 10 minutes from Lake Texoma.
