We are assisting a 95 bed hospital in the recruitment of an OBGYN in preparation for an upcoming retirement. Well established and respected solo physician will retire in early 2009. Hospital will offer a competitive income guarantee and overhead expenses to assist a new provider in the community. One other solo OBGYN will remain the community for a 1 in 2 call schedule. No FPs are doing OB in the area, and the referral base for the new provider is very strong. New physician can expect an annual delivery volume in the 150-200 range, plus a busy GYN schedule.
Town of 8,000 has a draw of about 50,000, and offers plenty of outdoor recreation including lakes, rivers, parks, and golf.
Within an hour south of Nashville, and an hour north of Huntsville, AL, area is centrally located for a myriad of educational and cultural amenities.
