Our Health Center is assisting hospital based practice in recruiting an associate.
A brief summary of the features of this position, the hospital and the community follows:
" The practice was recently established by our Health Center, currently with one physician. Position will be an employed position with excellent benefits including incentives above base salary.
" The office is located on the our Health Center campus and includes teaching Family Practice residents.
" Physician currently shares in a call rotation of 1:3.
" Our Health Center is a 427-bed tertiary care hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania that includes a Level III NICU. It serves the Erie area as well as southwest New York and northeast Ohio. The busiest free standing surgery center in northwest Pennsylvania is also on the campus.
" 2010 graduates welcome to apply as well as practicing physicians.
" Erie Pennsylvanias fourth largest city boasts a wealth of recreational, cultural and educational opportunities. One of our greatest natural resources is Presque Isle State Park, a 7 mile peninsula that forms a natural bay and provides miles of sandy beaches for residents and nearly 4,000,000 visitors each year to enjoy beautiful sunsets year round. Alpine and Nordic skiing is available, along with hunting, fishing, boating, sailing and water sports. Erie is also home to several theater groups, a philharmonic orchestra, several ballet companies, professional baseball and ice hockey teams and numerous public and private golf courses.
