Southwest, PA Seeks 4th OB/GYN :: Pennsylvania
Enterprise Medical Service

We are scheduling interviews with this OB/GYN group of three physicians and one certified midwife adding another OB/GYN due to one of the physicians retiring. Your call schedule will be 1:4. You will admit to a 49 bed acute care general hospital with units for medical, surgical, obstetrics, intensive care, coronary care and telemetry services. The hospital was update in 2008. Their emergency facilities include 24-hour, in-house coverage by Emergency Medicine physicians, a licensed heliport for emergency transport and trauma center affiliation. The group does around 300 deliveries a year and the office is within walking distance of the hospital.

With a population of around 5000 this group is located on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for easy access to major metro areas. This community is located in the foothills of the pristine Southern Alleghenies Mountains in south-central Pennsylvania with its vast mountainous tracts and wide spacious valleys. The county in which this community is located is 65% forest, 25% farmland and the rest residential, commercial and industrial development. Good public, parochial and private schools. There are several universities and colleges nearby for higher education. Recreation and cultural events abound here making this a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family.

The countryside is beautiful, prices are affordable, the people are friendly and there are many family oriented activities to enjoy.
