Our Hospital seeks a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join their patient-centered, progressive medical community in Western North Carolina.
This is an employed or solo physician opportunity. Currently, 1 OB/GYN and 5 family practitioner physicians, 2 of which are fellowship trained and performing c-sections, are practicing in the community. Call for this opportunity will be 1:3.
Founded in 1955, the Hospital is a 46 bed member of the Health System serving the areas of Mitchell, Yancey, lower Avery, and upper McDowell Counties of Western North Carolina. The outpatient clinic for this position is located in Burnsville, NC.
The surrounding mountains, rivers, and waterfalls provide ample opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities and spectacular views while the local art community provides a rich array of crafts typical of the well rounded lifestyle in Western North Carolina. All of which are within easy driving distance to Asheville, NC.
