Complicated delivery: Delivery of twins, breech, mid-forceps, vaginal birth after C-Section, C-Section Low-Risk Pregnancy: Patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia High-Risk Pregnancy: Patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac's, chronic lung Other: OB Ultrasounds, Amniocentesis, Repair of third and fourth degree lacerations, Newborn resuscitation, FHR Interpretation: MST/CST/FSE GYNECOLOGY: Office & Minor Gynecology: IUD, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP Surgical Genecology: Hysterectomy, D&C, Uterine Suspension, Anterior Repair of prolaspe-cystoscopy Laparoscopy: Diagnostic and Operative Patients/ volume expected to be seen per day: 20-30+ Number of hospitals/clinics serviced: 1 Service area 40,000 - 50,000 Primary Draw Area: Payer Mix: Medicaid - 5%, Medicare 40%, Self Pay - 3%, Commercial 53% Percentage of HMOs 0% Referral Base/Patterns: Good ER Call Schedule Details: - Seven Days per Week (Friday 7pm to 7am) - Unattached Patients (24 hours) - Call is 1:3 and is taken by the week. - Seven Days per Week - Attached Patients (24 hours) - OB/GYN's round on own attached patients, unless arrangements are made with fellow OB/GYN's Special Note: When a physician needs to make arrangements to leave town for a day(s), including weekends, while on call; coverage is worked out between the group of 3.
