Private Practice opening in Hagerstown, MD in 2010 for a general OB/GYN.

This practice has 5 physicians and 10 mid-wives. They are typically delivering 90+ per month. The mid-wives manage normal OB cases and physicians handle high-risk, c-sections, etc. Mid-wives also take all first calls after hours. Vbac is offered.

For office hours, each physician is supported by the same nurse each day. The staff turn-over is very low and satisfaction is very high.

This practice will soon have electronic medical records fully implemented. The last piece is for OB care.

A maternal fetal medicine specialist from Johns Hopkins is in the practice on a scheduled basis. The NICU is a Level II.

The employment contract includes all the typical components, including malpractice, vacation, CME with stipend, health, disability and life insurance, etc.

This opportunity hire date is somewhat flexible, but the target year is 2010.
