Pennsylvania Neurosurgery

Susquehanna Health is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join two (2) others here in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Joining the group, you would also be part of the Neuroscience Center and the inpatient Gibson Rehabilitation Center. The center will be a consolidated regional referral center that provides a broad spectrum of Neurological/Neurosurgical services. It would be a full scope practice to include, but not limited to: Endovascular, tumor, spine ect., and we have a (JCAHO Certified Primary Stroke Center). There are two Neurologist and we are hiring a third, that are part of the service line, with state-of-the-art facilities. The department has a complete support staff. Teaching is available as, we have a Family Medicine Residency and we are affiliated with the new medical school here in Pennsylvania as one of their clinical sites. We are self insured for malpractice and tail insurance.

Susquehanna Health consists of three hospitals and a multi-specialty group practice employing over 100 physicians. The system will be embarking on a $250 million hospital expansion project. The Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center is a 230 bed regional referral Center, Divine Providence Hospital has outpatient services, a surgicenter and a 30 -bed inpatient Behavioral Health Center, Muncy Valley Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a 138 bed long-term care facility. There are numerous specialty and sub-specialty practices to refer to and consult with for your patients.
