Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join its growing Neurosurgery program. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general Neurosurgery including Spine and Cranial work as well as radiosurgery. Any interest in deep brain stimulation, epilepsy and movement disorder surgery would be welcomed.
The Neurosurgery Section does over 500 procedures annually with a mix of 60% Spine/40% Cranial (includes OP gamma knife procedures). All Spinal Surgery at the health center is done by the Neurosurgeons, call will be 1 in 3 with no trauma call required! Excellent clinical support staff, Interventional Neuroradiologist and dedicated neuro teams are currently in place. The Neuroscience Center of Excellence is one of the hospitals major initiatives and there are plans to expand the scope of neurosurgical care delivery to our region.
