Providence Health & Services is seeking two BE/BC neurosurgeons to join Providence Brain Institute, working with several senior neurosurgeons who are transitioning to retirement in the next 1-2 years. This is a busy practice in a very nice eastside metro Portland location. "Time share" model opportunity allowing full integration via EMR, trained staff, dedicated office space and active collaboration with our orthopedic spine surgeons and senior neurosurgeons. New neurosurgeons can retain the independence of private practice within a model that supports research efforts and access to state-of-the-art technologies. Providence Brain Institute cares for more stroke, MS and neurosurgery patients than any other health system in Oregon. The Institute includes: a dedicated ALS center in partnership with another facility and the ALS Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington; Providence Regional Stroke Center, collaborating with two other large health care institutions to ensure excellent stroke management; an active cranial and spine program; a comprehensive epilepsy center offering vagal nerve stimulator implants and other advanced surgical procedures and treatments; neurointerventional services aided by a neuro bi-plane procedure room that provides rapid brain images from multiple angles; advanced Gamma Knife surgical capabilities; and comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease centers.
