Position is located in a city of over 50,000. The citys location along the Willamette River makes this an attractive place to live, work and study. This central location makes this an ideal place to live while exploring nearby areas such as the Coast Range, Pacific Ocean beaches and wildlife areas of the beautiful Willamette Wine Valley. This is a University town. You can fish, boat or water ski less than a block from downtown. You can walk the Pacific Ocean beaches an hour away or snow ski in the Cascades just over two hours to the east.

Running and biking are favorite pastimes here. Bike lanes are included on most streets and there are routes along the river, trails for hiking and biking through Avery Park and Peavy Arboretum.
