Pennsylvania: Seeking 5th NeuroRadiologist for 26 member group, 1st year $350K-$400K

Private practice group of 26 radiologists serving Level 829 bed Level I Shock Trauma Center seeks to a fifth NeuroRadiologist, ideally with CAQ or eligible to teach and perform clinical research with Diagnostic Radiology Residents and Medical Students. Wide range of diagnostic neuroradiology responsibilities, include CT, head and neck PET/CT imaging, MR imaging diagnostic angiography, and myelography. Procedures performed include spinal biopsies, epidural steroid injections, facet and nerve blocks, discography, and vertebroplasty. Vascular interventional neuroradiology services include endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, tumors, and arteriovenous fistulae. Neurointerventionalists also perform intracranial, intraarterial thrombolysis for acute stroke. Angioplasty and stenting of spastic or atherosclerotic vessels is also performed.

Equipment includes three hospital-site 1.5 Tesla magnets (two Siemens Avanto, one Symphony), and two outpatient 1.5 Tesla magnets (one Siemens Espree, and one GE); two hospital-site Siemens CT scanners (approved: one 64-slice andone 40-slice), and two outpatient CT scanners (one 64-slice Toshiba); two biplane angiography suites (one Siemens Neurostar, one Philips), and one single plane angiography suite (Siemens). Academic appointments to Faculty are available for individuals with demonstrated educational leadership. Salary commensurate with experience. First year income approximately $350K to $400K. Partnership track is one year with income increasing to $400K - $500K inclusive of bonuses, call supplement, profit sharing and pension. Vacation, CME and meeting time of 7 weeks per year.
