KRC.1208.1803.06C Med Ped for health center, which operates a 24-bed critical access hospital, two rural health clinics, eight specialty clinics, and a retirement community. The internist sees patients in a rural health clinic setting and long-term care facility, and participates in the admission and delivery of inpatient care. The on-call time is usually less, but equals no more than 1 in 3.5. There are currently three full-time providers within the organization and relief providers available when necessary.

Base salary is in the range of 160K-180K, based on experience, plus a liberal productivity bonus starting in year two, and a contract signing bonus/moving allowance in the amount of $20,000. An excellent array of usual and customary employee benefits are included: 15 days of vacation per year, 5 days of paid continuing medical education per year, and an annual allowance for CME, dues and fees. Malpractice insurance is paid by the Health Center. In addition, a complimentary 2-bedroom apartment, with utilities paid, and the use of a company car is available during the 90 day transition period.

This community is looking for a physician with a strong desire to live and serve within a rural setting, excellent patient relations skills, Board Certification, or Board Eligible with achievement in six months, Emergency Room/Trauma experience, and ACLS, and ATLS certification, and a willingness to make a two to three year commitment.

Deer, quail, and wild turkey also delight the native outdoorsmen as well as visitors.
