Join a single specialty group with 1 Ped, all outpatient. Hospital has two Rural Health Clinics that they work at. The new person would probably be at just one site. Must share in the ER call, one weekend in five. Mid-levels cover ER in the evenings, 3.5 patients seen in the ER per day, low volume. Employed position, negotiable salary, ER pay is on top of salary and productivity bonuses are in place as well. Work a 4 day work week.

Full benefits package including mal-practice, health, vacation, CME, CME dollars, retirement and relocation assistance. Federal loan repayment available. Practice will not qualify for J1 visa or H1B.

This rural community functions like a big city in the sense that they are up to date with all the modern equipment and work practices. This group is a very family driven, they work to live, not live to work and balance their work and home life which the Hospital strongly encourages. Hospital is not looking for a workaholic, prefers quality medicine rather then quantity. Residents of this little slice of heaven has virtually no crime, excellent school systems, affordable housing. There are County Fairs, Lakes, golfing and neighbors that still stop and help, leaving doors unlocked in this community is common place.. For more cultural events and educational opportunities, Wichita is only a very short 40 miles away. Have the best of both worlds!!
