The Perinatal Center of Iowa, an affiliate of Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines, is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join a thriving full service perinatology practice. We offer a competitive compensation package with paid malpractice, a generous relocation program, sign on bonus and paid CME.
The practice:
Located on the main campus of Mercy Medical Center-Des Moines Provides comprehensive perinatology services to communities within a 100 mile radius of Des Moines Provides consultative and ultrasound services Conducts outreach clinics Employs 6 experienced sonographers, 2 mid-level providers, and a certified genetic counselor Offers First Trimester screening, 2D and 3D obstetric ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis to include genetic amniocentesis, CVS, and cordocentesis, consultations, and obstetric managment Mercy annually delivers more that 4,900 newborns at it's birthing center which included 15 private birthing suites, 40 spacious recovery rooms, a 40-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unite, and a Level III Perinatal Diagnostic Center: Mercy offers a full compliment of Pediatric subspecialists as well as Neurosurgery support Mercy takes seriously the promise to blend a family friendly environment with state-of-the-art obstetric and neonatal care For more information on the practice go to www.perinataliowa.com
