Oregon: 4th Interventional Radiologist for Challenging Case Load with New Center

Well established expanding practice of 16 Radiologists serving tertiary care hospital of 500 beds is seeking a 4th Interventionalist to meet increasing demand generated by new Endovascular / Interventional Center. The Interventionalist should be capable of doing/learning vertebroplasty, TIPS, UFE, complex arterial and venous stenting, cerebral angiography, stroke thombolysis, CT/US guided biopsies, drainages, radiofrequency ablation, chemoembolization, greater saphenous vein ablation for varicose veins, aortic stent-grafts and dialysis work. Practice has recently begun offering Botox and Restylene therapies. Interventionalists have their own call pool. All NeuroRadiologists, musculoskeletal radiologists, and womens imagers respectively cover lumbar punctures/myelograms, arthrograms, and breast intervention. Two oncology groups and and one radiation oncology group (with gamma knife) serve the hospital with new cancer tower and research center to be completed in 2008.

The radiology department is well equipped with three MRI scanners, a 3T and two, four CTs, including a 64-slice, PET and PET/CT scanners, in filmless Philips/Stentor PACS environment, including three digital mammography units, with SpeechQ voice recognition. NightHawk Radiology is from 9 pm -7 am seven days a week. Group members work 4 days a week with 8-12 weeks of annual vacation. Partnership of 1-2 years is negotiable with experience. First year guarantee income of $250K+ plus full family benefits and malpractice. Second year income is 80% of Partner income of $450K+. At the end of your first year a calculation of your buy in will be performed, payable over a 6 year period. Relocation expenses of up to $10K.
