Physician for Community Health Center
Seeking a community-oriented primary care physician who is board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice to join our team of physicians and nurse practitioners at a Federally Qualified Community Health Center. Practice in a rewarding and stimulating environment providing primary care to the underserved population of the Alexandria VA area. Emphasis is on community based practices, promoting healthy lifestyles, prevention of disease and management of chronic illness.
Our patient population is diverse, reflective of the multi-cultural nature of our community. Strong support staff of nurses, case managers, and mental health professionals; practice includes ob/gyns, internists, and pediatricians as well as nurse practitioners and dentists. This position offers the opportunity to provide excellent medical care to a needy population; opportunities for Family Practitioners to practice across disciplines.
