Virginia Internal Medicine

Medical Director Positions available in Central and Southwestern Virginia. 32 hours per week near Richmond and 32 hours per week near Wytheville. Out patient medicine only with light call and no hospital duties. The deadline for application is 4/5/2010. This position will be booked as a one year assignment with the possibility of 4 each one year extensions. Correctional Medicine offers regular hours, light call, no overhead, no hospital rounds, and a reasonable work load. Most physicians who try correctional medicine find that they like it. We need physicians who are fully residency trained in internal medicine or family practice. The clinic staff handles the administrative details and this lets you do what you do best: practice medicine.
