Two physicians primary care and chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia practice in desirable Northern Virginia is looking for a third physician. They are hiring due to patient growth. Work four and a half days per week in the office and see an average of 15 patients per day. 80 to 90% of the patient treated have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and will be treated for this as well as general primary care needs. The lead physician is willing to fully train the new physician in chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia care. Call is 1 in 3 for weeknights and 1 in 8 for weekends. The group utilizes hospitalists to do their admissions and inpatient work. The payer mix is over 50% self pay and the rest is PPO and less than 10% Medicare. No HMOs. Starting salary is $120,000 plus bonused. Malpractice insurance with tail, health, dental, 1 weeks sick time, 2 weeks vacation, $1,000 CME and 1 week time off and SEP/IRA available after 2 years.
