An independently-owned Internal Medicine practice, located just a couple hours outside of Washington in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, is seeking a permanent Internal Medicine physician. Responsibilities include performing inpatient and outpatient duties and Hospitalist coverage is expected one week a month that includes mostly rounding and admitting. The remaining three weeks a month you'll be working four and 1/2 days a week practicing outpatient medicine within an office setting. The town in which you'd practice isn't super fancy, chic or hip; it's down-to-earth. That's not to say the town is lacking in culture or necessities.
