We are a 200-bed acute care facility located in Dallas County immediately east of the City of Dallas. There are approximately 250,000 people in the hospitals service area, and more than six million in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Dallas Regionals service area population is growing faster than the U.S. population as a whole and Dallas is the fourth largest municipality in the nation.
Dallas Regional has recently opened a new $6.1 million, 26 bed, all-private Cardiac Care Unit, with 17,000 sq. ft. The new Cardiac Care Unit provides additional capacity to enhance our current two cath labs and busy open heart surgery program. Other service lines include a Total Joint Center, a 9-bed Medical and 14-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and busy surgical program.
The Mesquite/Dallas area provides newcomers with plenty of space to spread their wings and search for the perfect home. Mesquite has excellent employment opportunities, great shopping and an exemplary school system. Mesquite residents enjoy over 220 days of sunshine a year and an average daily temperature of 65 degrees. The rainfall average is approximately 40 inches, but snow is a rarity.

You can start your own practice as an Internist with shared call of 1-30 or practice only outpatient working for our hospital in a community about 25 miles from Dallas, TX. This is a great opportunity to work 100% outpatient in a new medical building owned by a local hospital. We are seeking two BE/BC internists to fill these positions. Your salary potential will be in excess of $150,000 plus range depending on experience.
