North Texas Internal Medicine Opportunity
Northwest Texas Healthcare System is assisting a large multi-specialty group recruit a new Internist.
This is a 14-year old group, very well-respected in the city, offering Internal Medicine and nonprocedural sub-specialties. Continued growth and the need to replace a departing member are creating the recruitment need. The total staff numbers 20 members, with eight being Internists. In addition to the specialty care, the clinic also offers in-house lab and x-ray, ultrasound and other services.
The practice averages 18 to 30 patients per day per physician, with a minimal number of hospitalizations. Each physicians takes their own call during the week; weekend call is 1:8 with coverage at two hospitals.
Compensation includes a very competitive first year salary with a one year partnership track and benefits.
Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a 489 bed acute care medical center located on a campus that also includes an 85 bed behavioral health facility that provides inpatient and outpatient services. NSTHS is staffed by more than 350 physicians representing 38 specialties
