A growing community of 18,000 (with a service area of 40,000+), Shelbyville needs more Internal Medicine physicians to meet community need. We are currently looking for 3 new Internists to keep up with the demand. This is an excellent opportunity for BC/BE Internists interested in building a busy practice, either solo or forming their own group, in this welcoming, home-town atmosphere less than an hour from the excitement of Nashville's thriving music and entertainment scene. Shelbyville, the site of the National Walking Horse Celebration, is surrounded by beautiful horse farms with rolling pastures and verdant forests.
With a significant capital investment and support from CHS, Bedford County Medical Center is becoming a first class medical resource for it's community. This is a great opportunity to become part of the future for this growing community. Office space is available in an on-campus medical office building, and hospital call is just 1:9 (includes FPs). Currently there are only 2.5 IMs in the community.
