South Carolina Internal Medicine

Our Memorial Hospital (209 beds) is seeking to employ two Internal Medicine physicians to assume existing practices, which are available in March, 2009. The current physicians are relocating out of the area in order to be closer to family. Located in Spartanburg, S.C. (pop. 38,000 city, 261,000 county), home of Wofford College, these positions will consist of traditional Internal Medicine and include an attractive compensation plan based on MGMA standards and commensurate with training and experience. Compensation includes a base salary, incentive bonus, benefits, including CME allowance, professional liability insurance, relocation, and medical education loan repayment, if needed. Excellent work environment with good call coverage.

Spartanburg, S.C. is just fifteen minutes east of Greenville (pop. 56,000 city, 395,000 county), home of Furman University. Located on I-26, Spartanburg is less than an hour south of Asheville, N.C. and just an hour and twenty minutes west of Charlotte. It's an hour and a half north of Columbia, where the University of South Carolina Medical School is located and just three hours from Charleston, S.C. on I-26.

Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), Mary Black serves more than 8,000 inpatients and 100,000 outpatients each year.
