Be part of a group doing mainly out patient in a clinic near Corvallis. This would require an internist to work one to two night shifts as a hospitalist from 7 Pm to 7 am. The starting salary for an internist is $150k the first year. The second year is based upon RVUs and most doctors average between $180-200k. You will be paid $1000,00 dollars for each night shift hospitals rotation. This is at our critical access hospital of 25 beds in a community about 30 minutes from Corvallis. The average high census is 18 patients. We offer a commencement bonus and full benefits.

This city is located in the heart of the Willamette Valley, with the Willamette River bordering the community. The City of Portland, the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean are all within an hour and a half driving time, putting this city in an excellent position for economic and recreational opportunities.

The local population within its city limits is over 43,600 and growing. Linn County's population is approximately 103,000. North of this city is within Benton County, with the population of Benton County approximately 78,153.

County is the leading producer in the U.S. of ryegrass grass seed. Other important crops include peppermint, meadow foam, vegetables, small fruits, and farm forestry products. Dairies are the major livestock enterprise.

The city has excellent public, parochial and private schools as well as the opportunity for higher education at Oregon State and several 2-year colleges.
