Established practice in the area is looking to expand to the Chapel Hill area. You will work with 1 other Internal Medicine physician. This practice is focused on patient care, not practice administration. The practice is open 7 days a week, but is not an urgent care. The office hours are Monday-Friday/730am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday/10am to 4pm. You will do outpatient work only and see 3 patients per hour. The practice uses electronic medical records. You will work a total of 36 hours of patient care per week. You can either work as an independent contractor with 1st year income guarantee with option for partnership or join as an owner from the very beginning. They will provide the practicing operating system and practice management systems. The benefits include health insurance and malpractice insurance. The population in Chapel Hill is 50,000. Chapel Hill is located next to Raleigh. This is area has several major universities including: UNC Chapel Hill, Duke and Wake Forest University. This area is a large medical community.
