Internal Medicine Physician Job in University North Carolina Town Call Med Pro Search Today. Med Pro is screening candidates for an Internal Medicine physician to join a North Carolina University group of Internal Medicine providers located in Metro, North Carolina. This also is a Faculty appointment within the Department of Internal Medicine of a University Healthcare System. This Health Care System manages medical practices strategically located throughout the regions to provide the most convenient healthcare for the residents of North Carolina. Fulltime providers provide services for four and one half days with one half day reserved for other professional activities that may further the mission of UNCHCS. This is an outpatient /office based practice. Options for inpatient flex schedule in addition to office practice are considered on per physician basis. A provider wishing to provide office practice is acceptable and will qualify for a benefit package. Preceptor/teaching status is also an option for those wishing to participate. Time would be distributed to accommodate sessions. A 9,000 square foot medical complex located in the city offers high visibility and easy access for patients. There are currently three (3) Internal Medicine physicians and one (1) Pediatrician housed within this complex. Ratio of 1/1 physician/nurse with operating lab (phlebotomist) on site. EMR , and varied procedure back up staff support are the foundation for a thriving practice. Average daily patient base is 20. NO after hours call. Physicians obtain privileges at the Hospital and have adjunct professorship status. Initial compensation /income package includes base plus incentives after first year. Excellent benefit package including complete health insurance coverage for provider and family. Vacation, CME allowance, medical dues, licensures fees, sign-on/relocation moneys.FULL package round out a solid income package.
