Internal Medicine Join an MSG. This is a replacement position. Starting base salary is $190K. The average internist in Elko makes about $200K-$225K per year, and a couple of them make over $300K Call groups allow candidates not take call on their own patients continuously. They have surgeons, a nurse practitioner, and more. A full benefits package including major medical, dental, vision, paid mal practice paid, CME, etc. Relocation and a sign on bonus offered as well. Located on a 50-acre campus, our Nevada Regional Hospital is a beautiful $40 million state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2001. With 127,000 square feet, it features 75 all-private acute-care rooms, 5 ORs, and an adjacent Medical Office Building. Our Nevada Regional Hospital is an integral part of Northeastern Nevada and the only acute care hospital within a 200-mile radius. State of the art equipment and a high technology emergency room. Heliopads, kidney dialysis center, diagnostic imaging center. The hospital also serves as a teaching institution for the Nursing program at Great Basin College and the Residency / Medical Student Program at the University of Nevada. Elko is located in the northeastern corner of the state of Nevada, situated on the Humboldt River halfway between Reno and Salt Lake City. Interstate 80 traverses Elko County, making it a convenient destination if traveling by car. The City of Elko has an elevation of 5.060 feel.
