A hospitalist is needed to work 7 on 7 off in eastern Mississippi until a permanent physician fills the spot. This is with an LTAC, and you would average about 1 admission every 3 days, and 1 discharge every 3 days. Average length of stay is about 4 weeks, so patient encounters will be shorter, and you will be seeing 20-25 patients a day. This should not take more than 10 hours per day.
