This facility is seeking to employ a full time Board Certified/Board Eligible internal medicine physician to join a multi-specialty practice with other employed physicians. This position meets all of the criteria for a J-1 visa waiver through the Delta Regional Authority. There is no un-referred ER call since the hospital uses hospitalist to fill this need. With the hospitalist program, the candidate could also have the hospitalist take clinic call. Hospital privileges are required for this opportunity. This facility has been serving the Natchez area since 1973. They are a 101-bed general, acute care facility. The financial package provides a competitive compensation for services and productivity bonus potential. Base salary ranges from $190,547 to $236,879 based on experience. Benefits include fifteen vacation days, five CME days/$3,500 allowance; paid malpractice; optional group health, dental, and vision insurance; and 401(k). The package also includes a relocation moving allowance with a house-hunting trip.
