Worthington is a community of 10,000 located in Southwest Minnesota just 1 hour from Sioux Falls, SD and 3 hours from Minneapolis. The Clinic is part of the Health network, a regional family of more than 100 healthcare facilities in the five-state region of Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota. Our Hospital and University Health Center located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is the regional referral center for Worthington Specialty Clinics. Our Specialty Clinic is a primary care group practice with 12 physicians in five specialties and 3 midlevels. The current medical staff includes 3 internists, 2 family medicine physicians, 3 pediatricians, 2 OB/GYN physicians and a certified nurse midwife, 2 general surgeons, a clinical psychologist, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. All physicians are board certified. The clinic is located adjacent to the hospital and is connected by an underground tunnel. The clinic has its own laboratory, x-ray, mammography, ultrasound, pulmonary function, fixed nuclear medicine camera and cardiovascular stress testing equipment.
