We are committed to expanding our primary care base and have openings for Internal Medicine physicians in a number of locations. Some of these are already established sites and others are just being developed. These positions are available as either private practices with an income guarantee or salaried working for the Hospitals group practice.
Voluntary participation in our Hospitalist program provides the option of a traditional primary care practice, i.e., outpatient and inpatient, or just outpatient service provision.

Our Hospital, a non-profit institution, founded in 1931, is a 113-bed acute care hospital serving South Central Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut - known as The Last Green Valley. We offer a small-town setting, excellent schools, and close proximity to the coast and mountains of New England, plus less than an hour to urban cultural activities and amenities in Boston, Hartford, Providence, Worcester and Springfield.
Our facility has a complete range of inpatient medical services (i.e., medical, surgical, ICU/CCU, psychiatric, pediatrics, OB/GYN beds and a two campus emergency medicine department) and a wide range of outpatient services including mental health, substance abuse, occupational medicine, and other programs. Our DI department boasts the latest technology, like a 1.5 in-house MRI, 64 slice CT and digital mammography. Radiology services are obtained via an arrangement with Health Center and are provided by Harvard Medical Faculty Group radiologists on site.
