1.Central NH-primary care IM--Join a practice of 10 physicians which includes FPs and IMs as well as 3 clinical psychologists. Internists see approximately 20-25 pts/day. They enjoy a 4 day work week. They have an internal hospitalist system meaning they rotate hospital responsibilities one week every 5-6 weeks. They balance of the time is all outpatient medicine. They do share night call which is 1:10-12. They currently do not have teaching or academics, but plan to in the future. The practice is a non-profit corporation and a federally qualified health clinic. It is an employed position offering competitive salary. Benefits include full family health, malpractice with no tail, $1500/yr for professional expenses, $1500/yr for CME, 2 wks/yr for CME, 5 wks/yr earned time off for sick and vacation. 2.SW NH - They are looking for an IM to join into their group practice in historic region of NH about 30 minutes to the West of Nashua. Call 1:6. They do not use a hospitalist program. Seasoned physicians see 18-20 pts/day and new residents see 14-15 pts/day. Must do vent management. Located in offices attached to the hospital. They have 2 offices there. There are 3 NP's. This is an employed model with productivity bonus based on work RVU's. Salary will be $150K No teaching or academics. No visa candidates. 3.Southern NH-traditional IM Join a physician owned MSG for a traditional practice. They have a total of 9 physicians which includes a rheumatologist and an allergist. Call 1:8 weekends and weeknights. Patient care in-office 32 hrs/week, hospital rounds on your own patients (weekdays), coverage of your own patients in local nursing homes. Average number of patients per day is 20-28 for established physicians. Teaching appointment in process. Approximately 35,000 active charts in the practice. Procedures performed in the group include radiology, mammography, ultrasound, bone density, CT, MRI, stress testing, echocardiography, in-office infusion services. Equipment available at the site includes digital radiology. The office is staffed at or better than MGMA averages for similar size practices in similar specialties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a group setting, very productive and interest in partnership is desirable, but not required. They offer a 2-3 yr contract with base salary and productivity incentive bonus based on net collected revenue. Salary is competitive. Partnership track offered after 2-3 years for appropriate individuals. The hospital has a hospitalist that works M-F (7-5). Therefore, doc does not have to do admissions during those times. They have 3 IMs, 4-5 FRS 1 OB 1 Urologist 2 GS, 1 Rad, 1 Ortho 2 Pediatricians 3 PAs, and 2 NPs. Half of the physicians are on the payroll. They are located on the Canadian border they offer a full range of benefits including 4 weeks vacation, 2 weeks CME. Internal medicine will join 3 IMs and 1 PA.
