Bangor, ME opportunity is looking for a full time Internal Medicine provider (no peds, no OB). They are expanding their practice. OMT experience would be nice, but is not necessary.
Specifications: 36 patient contact hours. Monday through Friday with fairly flexible hours. This practice uses technology to a great extent, so we would like someone who has experience and a desire to learn more and to be innovative. Strong emphasis on team care, very collaborative. Currently two physicians and one NP at this practice. 6 in the call group about two calls per night. Call every 6th weekend (this would include the new physician) Practice does not involve inpatient work. The practice is affiliated with EMMC and St. Josephs. 20 to 22 patients per day. Position offers a very competitive salary and benefit package.
Brunswick, ME opportunity is for one IM doctor, they would like someone to start the summer of 2010.
Specifications: Patient Contact hours 32. Clinic is open Monday through Sunday - Sat 8 to 4, Sunday 9 to 1. Call is 1 in 9. Evening hours roughly once every two weeks, call once every two weeks (no hospital). Work Saturday and Sunday every 9th week. Average 20 to 25 patients seen per day. 6 FP docs, 5 Pediatricians, 3 IM docs, one PA, one Physical Therapist. Affiliated with Mid-coast Hospitals. Lab, x-ray, physical therapy on site.
