Large Health Care system in Topeka, KS has several primary care needs. Administration hopes to recruit 10 family practice or internal medicine physicians in 2010. System has multiple primary care offices in and around Topeka, KS. Candidates can have strictly outpatient practice if so desired. Local hospital is equipped with hospitalist program. New candidates will begin with $165K guarantee + malpractice, health, dental, vision, 31 days vacation/CME, 401-K, relocation, etc. Experienced candidates will start at a higher salary if their past productivity supports it. Physicians are currently being paid on percentage of gross charge model. Primary care physicians are making anywhere from $150K to $300K depending upon work ethic of individual. All offices are equipped with electronic medical records. Once established, physicians can work 4, 4.5 or 5 day workweek. Candidates are expected to work 40 hour workweek while of guarantee.
Community is state capital with local population of 121K. Great place to raise a family! Just 1 hour West of Kansas City.
