Indiana Internal Medicine

A facility in north central Indiana, directly south of South Bend, is seeking a permanent Internist to replace one that is leaving in January of 2010. The replacement candidate can start sooner than January. South Bend, Indiana is located in northern Indiana, less than one hour from Chicago, home to Notre Dame and is a large, thriving town. This opportunity is outpatient only, Monday through Friday with one short Saturday per month. Hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Tuesday, 1 p.m.-9 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday. Qualified candidates will be board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine, obtain and hold admitting privileges at one or more local hospitals and have an unrestricted license to practice in Indiana (or be ready to obtain one). The compensation package will include a base salary with full-time employee benefits which include health, relocation, life, short and long term disability insurance, paid holidays (8), vacation (3 weeks first year, four thereafter), 5 personal days, 403b matching retirement program and paid CME up to 5 days.
