Medical Quality and Information Systems Officer

We are looking for one (1) full-time Board Certified physician to join us as our Medical Quality and Information Systems Officer. This attractive opportunity is with a community-based teaching hospital which is part of the Cook County Health and Hospitals System. This position will report to the Chief Medical Officer and be responsible for the on-going Quality and Performance Improvement activities of the Medical Staff as well as assist with the design, implementation and training of our computerized electronic medical record and other IT related matters. It will also allow a comfortable mix of both in-patient and out-patient clinical medicine.
