Well-established practitioner with large, Internal Medicine practice in the North Central Florida Community of Ocala seriously seeks an associate primary care physician to join very successful practice. Must be Florida Board Certified Internist or FP. The practice has approximately 750 active patients. These are ranked by age roughly 40% over 60 years of age, 60 percent between ages 18 and 59. In addition to the regular practice, there is also a Clinical Research Department wholly owned by the Physician. Research derrives almost 100% of its Study Participants from the in-house practice.
All practice patients are followed in the hospitals. Full privileges exist at all three of the local hospitals. Hospitalists are additionally available for coverage as needed. A weekend telephone coverage arrangement exists with 4 other local Internists, as well.
The office employs a Staff of 7: A Receptionist, a Medical Insurance Specialist, who also does all billing, `1 LPN, and 2 Certified Medical Assistants. The Clinical Research Arm employs 2 Certified Clinical Research Coordinators, one who is an MA-C, and one who has a B.S., and is also Certified as a CCRA.
As of November, 2009, the practice will be occupying newly constructed offices which have been designed for two physicians, and also house the Clinical Reseach operation.
