Opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to establish a solo practice within our organization.

Hospital is a provider of hospital care in San Luis Obispo County with a sister hospital close by. Both hospitals have over 70% market share in the County. A new patient tower was built in the summer of 2007, hospital will operate 114 acute beds (18 ICU, 10 DOU, 10 OB Post Partum and 76 acute medical surgical beds. In addition, hospital will provide ER services in a new 23-suite ER. The hospital serves a population base of approximately 84,000 people in a major California wine-producing region, with some of the nations most prized vintages.
Hospital has approximately 110 associated active medical staff members, with the total medical staff exceeding 200 physicians. Hospital employees approximately 450 employees. The average daily census of the Hospital is 62. The Hospital provides a Hospitalist service for patients without a physician and who require admission through the ER, or for community-based physicians who prefer an office-based practice.
