HIV MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Full time position for an Internist or Family Physician to lead HIV services for a large, University affiliated, substance abuse treatment program in the Bronx, NY. Infectious Disease candidate with substantial HIV experience will also be considered.
Dynamic opioid pharmacotherapy program provides on-site primary medical care, including HIV and Hepatitis C care, integrated with substance abuse treatment and psychiatric services. New state-of-the-art facilities.
Position involves direct patient care as well as a clinical administrative role, including quality improvement, protocol development, and staff oversight. Colleagues include a great group of primary care Internists and Family Practitioners dedicated to providing high quality care to an underserved, urban patient population. Substantial expertise and experience in HIV ambulatory care essential. Clinical administrative experience a plus.
