We are continuing to build a hospitalist practice from 4 to 6 Hospitalist. You will be mainly working from 7 AM-7 PM 5 to 6 weeks out of your normal rotation. This is a 7 days on and 7 day off shift model. One week ever 5th or 6th rotation you will be asked to work as a nocturnist form 7 PM to 7 AM. You are not required to be at the hospitals but on pager for this week. This group does not do any first responding to codes, the ED dept is in charge of these functions. You must be comfortable doing lines, but not intubations. The more RVUs you produce the better your income will be at the end of each quarter. This is an upscale community and this style of practice will help you have an excellent quality of life. The team is very congenial and gets together outside of work also. Lastly the patient load is very controlled, so you will be busy, but not over whelmed.
