We are looking for a full time Hospitalist to join RRMC (Rutland Regional Medical Center). RRMC is the second largest hospital in the state of Vermont and is certified for 188 beds. Our Hospitalist program has been in operation since 2000. It has full specialty back up including an ICU with 3 Intensivists, a cardiology service with 5 cardiologists, diagnostic Cath Lab, and Emergency Department. Tertiary association with the University of Vermont Medical School and the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical School.
This is an employed opportunity. Care for the inpatients of the peripheral primary care practices who have signed on for coverage. Clinical Nurse Coordinator assigned to work closely with the hospitalists to move patients through the hospital system efficiently and arrange discharge planning. Triple coverage from 10a - 5p. 12 shifts in 28 days. We currently have 9 fulltime IM trained MDs and 5 per diem MDs.
Must be residency trained and board certified or eligible within five years of completing training must be internal medicine and have some hospitalist experience.
