2 hospitalist opportunities in Dallas. The first one is joining a 4 person primary care group that is looking for a hospitalist group to do all the inpatient work. VERY flexible schedule. No nights. No critical care work. The census is 12-15. The second option is joining an established hospitalist group that has 4 hospitalists. Will work 10am-5pm with a call schedule of 1 in 5. The census is 15-20. Will not do any critical care work, although the hospital has a 14 bed ICU. The hospital has over 100 beds. The population is 50,000. School systems are both public and private and the housing costs are average. Dallas is a major cosmopolitan area, with warm climate, professional sports, five star dining and shopping. This is an employed position. The salary is around $180,000 plus bonuses. Benefits include: malpractice insurance, relocation expenses up to $10,000, health insurance, life insurance, pager/phone, dues and subscription, vacation, CME, paid holidays and retirement.
