Great opportunity to join a new hospitalist program in San Antonio. This will be employed by the hospitals physicians network. There are two schedule options. The first will be days only, 7 am to 7 pm, block schedule and 18 shifts per month. The second is for a nocturnist to work 7pm to 7am, 7 days on and 7 days off. No call. ICU rounding and consulting but no procedures. Work at only one hospital. The are offering a starting salary of $180,000 and bonuses based on quality up to $12,500 paid every 6 months. There are also production bonuses based on RVUs. They also provide malpractice with tail, relocation. sign on bonus starting at $10,000, $2,500 CME allowance, health/dental, life insurance, disability and more. They also offer the ability to pick up additional night shifts for $90 per hour. San Antonio has 2 million people in the metro area and boasts professional sports, great shopping and dining, fine arts, the Alamo, Riverwalk, SeaWorld and Six Flags and more. The local economy is also very strong.
