On behalf of a physician-run private practice hospitalist group, we are seeking candidates who desire to work in exclusively inpatient settings in a coastal Texas community. Will work Monday - Friday, rotating call on weekends.
Physicians with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (BE okay with recent training and plans to take boards) BUT with significant post-residency experience are highly desired. Recent experience working with inpatients is definitely required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. Current or pending licensure in Texas is a BIG plus!
The selected physician should be attracted to inpatient hospital medicine, and comfortable in building collaborative working relationships with community physicians and other hospital staff. Excellent compensation structure with productivity-based incentives, and a nice benefits package. Employed positions. After reference checks and credentialing, malpractice insurance will be covered.
