First - On behalf of a physician-run private practice hospitalist group, we are seeking candidates who desire to work in exclusively inpatient settings in the wonderful city of San Antonio! San Antonio is the eighth largest city in the U.S., and is a great multicultural location. Stroll the River Walk, shop, and enjoy the city. Or, go canoeing, tubing, rafting, fishing...etc.!!
Physicians with board certification in Internal Medicine (BE okay with recent training and plans to take boards) - BUT with significant post-residency experience - are highly desired. Recent experience working with inpatients is definitely required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. Current or pending licensure in Texas is a great BIG plus!! Work from Monday - Friday, with rotating call every other weekend.
The selected physician should be attracted to inpatient hospital medicine, and comfortable in building collaborative working relationships with community physicians and other hospital staff. Excellent compensation structure with productivity-based incentives, and a very nice benefits package. Employed positions. After reference checks and credentialing, malpractice insurance will be covered. Possibility of paid relocation and signing bonus, negotiable. Opportunities for leadership role if desired.
