At the present time, we have TWO clients in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that have openings for hospitalists! FIRST - will work for a physician-run private practice hospitalist group - seeking candidates who desire to work in exclusively inpatient settings in the DFW area of Texas! The ideal candidate will be either BE or BC in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Med/Peds, M.D. or D.O. Non-employed, 1099 Contractor positions. Texas license in place or in process will be required. Physicians will work with other hospitalists, and will be scheduled to work in blocks. Starting pay will range from $140K - $170K (most start at $170K), with paid malpractice insurance and health insurance. None of these positions are strictly nocturnist, and night call is shared. Most positions will cover only one hospital; one will cover two that are close to one another. SECOND POSITION - will be directly employed by the hospital. Seeking a BE/BC Hospitalist physician (Internal Medicine BC preferred, BE considered with recent training and plans to take boards). Full-time hospitalist position. Anticipated shifts will be Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekend call once per month. M.D. or D.O., requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Texas license in place (or in process) is highly desired. Primary draw area is 400K, great place for someone who likes lake activities - growing area. Hospital has made extensive investments in its physicial plant, equipment purchases and improvements in the past five years. Great real estate options, too! The DFW area is ranked as the 9th largest city in the U.S., and has everything you would expect from a big city including professional sports, great restaurants, top golf courses, galleries, museums, major international airport...the list goes on and on!!
Physicians with board certification in Internal Medicine (BE okay with recent training and plans to take boards) BUT with significant post-residency experience are highly desired. Recent experience working with inpatients is definitely required. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not an absolute requirement. And current or pending licensure in Texas is a BIG plus!
