Long term acute care facility is looking for an Internist or Geriatrician. Population is mostly Geriatrics. Will work Monday-Friday/8am-5pm. No nights and no call. Will see around 15 patients per day. The facility has a 4 bed high observation unit with hemodynamic monitoring capabilities, 3 negative airflow rooms, comprehensive clinical laboratory services, including blood gases, full pharmacy services, radiology, including ultra sound, rehabilitation services and interdisciplinary patient care model. Payer mix includes Medicare and Medicaid. The population is Nashville is 1/2 million with excellent school systems and low cost of living. Nashville is the state capital and the home to Vanderbilt University. This is an employed position with salary at $150,000 plus bonuses.
